Who can join: • Dogs of all ages and training levels • Owners unsure of the best training path • Dogs comfortable enough to be present in a retail/public environment Session details: • Free evaluation • Held at the Tolonen Family Pet Shop • No appointment needed (during available hours) What to expect: Not sure where to start? This evaluation is designed to give you clarity. We’ll meet at the shop, observe your dog in a semi-distracting environment, and have a direct conversation about your goals, concerns, and day-to-day challenges. This setting allows us to see how your dog handles mild real-world exposure while keeping things controlled and manageable. What we cover: • Quick behavior assessment in a public setting • Discussion of current challenges and training goals • Evaluation of handler communication and handling • Recommendations for structure, tools, and next steps • Guidance on the most appropriate training path Recommended options may include: • Basic Obedience • Beyond Obedience • Loose Leash Pack Walks • Private in-home training • Day Training programs Why start here?
