Basic Obedience
In our Basic Obedience classes, you and your dog will embark on a transformative journey of learning and growth together. Led by our experienced trainers, you'll dive into a comprehensive curriculum designed to build a strong foundation of obedience and manners.
Throughout the program, we'll guide you through a series of engaging exercises tailored to instill essential commands such as sit, touch, come, and heel. But our training doesn't stop there. We go beyond the basics, delving into the fundamentals of recall and teaching your dog how to exhibit polite manners both at home and in the outside world.

Beyond Obedience
You and your pup will master advanced obedience skills, improved impulse control and self-regulation, gain an advanced understanding of subtle handler cues and communication. Engage in diverse distance commands, , adaptable environment exposure, random event simulations, and so much more, all while forging an unbreakable bond.
For graduates of basic obedience courses (and private lessons) or anyone eager to elevate their training experience! This course is for dogs 8 months and UP. Vaccine records required ( Rabies, DAPP+ and Bordetella)

Recommended: Flea and Tick preventative due to classes in outdoor environments.
Evaluations are required for anyone new to The Dog Lady before being able to enroll into this course. Evaluations can easily be done at Tolonen Family Pet Shop most days of the week, so give us a call to schedule your evaluation today!

Sunday Fun-Day at Tolonen Family Pet-Shop

CGC Certification Testing
The CGC test evaluates dogs on ten key behaviors, promoting responsible pet ownership and well-behaved canine companions. Achieving CGC certification is a testament to your dog's training and socialization, opening doors to various opportunities such as therapy dog work and advanced obedience training.
Our CGC based prep classes are tailored to suit dogs of all ages and skill levels, providing personalized guidance and support from certified instructors.

We offer all 4 levels of the AKC family dog including: AKC S.T.A.R Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, CGC Community and CGC Urban
