Service Description

Who can join: • Dogs of all ages and training levels • Ideal for dogs just getting started or those needing a tune-up • Dogs must be manageable and able to function in a structured group setting Requirements: • Dogs must be handleable in a group environment • This is not a free-for-all—structure, boundaries, and safety are enforced at all times • Up-to-date Rabies, DAPP+, and Bordetella vaccinations required What to expect: This flexible, results-driven group class is designed to meet dogs exactly where they’re at. Each session is tailored to the dogs enrolled that day, with exercises selected based on skill level, behavior, and training goals. Whether you’re building foundation skills or proofing existing obedience, you’ll get practical, real-world training that continues to push progress forward. What we work on: • Increasing distance, duration, and distractions on foundational commands (sit, down, stay, recall, heel) • Maintaining position through handler movement • Neutrality around other dogs, people, and food • Building engagement in high-energy or unpredictable environments • Controlled greetings and appropriate social behavior • Handler switches (dogs working with different people) • Obedience under pressure (distractions like toys, noise, movement) • Long line work and off-leash preparation (when appropriate) Why Drop-In Group? Consistency doesn’t always require a long-term commitment—but it does require the right kind of work. This class gives you ongoing exposure, structured repetition, and real-world challenges without locking you into a set program. It’s a place to reinforce skills, stay accountable, and continue progressing alongside other dogs in a controlled environment.
