Service Description

This flexible, results-driven group class is ideal for dogs just getting started or those in need of a tune-up. Each session is tailored to the specific dogs signed up, with exercises chosen based on skill level, behavior, and goals. Whether you’re building a solid foundation or proofing existing skills, we’ll meet you where you are—and help you level up. In each class, we’ll rotate through a variety of obedience drills and real-world distractions, incorporating challenges like: • Increasing distance, duration, and distractions on foundational commands (sit, down, stay, recall, heel) • Working through handler movement while the dog maintains position • Practicing neutrality around other dogs, people, and food • Building focus under high-energy or unpredictable environments • Introducing controlled greetings and polite behavior around triggers • Adding handler switches (dog works with different people) • Practicing obedience under pressure (e.g., while a toy is dropped, another dog is barking, etc.) • Long line and off-leash prep in a controlled space (when appropriate) Dogs must be handleable in a group setting. This class is not a free-for-all; structure and boundaries are enforced so each dog can work safely and productively. No long-term commitment. Just focused work, practical skills, and steady improvement—one session at a time.
