Service Description

Who can join: • Dogs 3 months and older • No prior training required • Ideal for new dog owners or dogs needing structure and foundation work Vaccine requirements: All participants must upload proof of up-to-date Rabies, DAPP+, and Bordetella vaccinations prior to the first class. Flea and tick prevention is highly recommended. What to expect: Basic Obedience focuses on building clear communication, structure, and foundational skills between you and your dog. Classes are a mix of controlled indoor work and simple real-world exposure to help dogs learn how to stay engaged with their handler while navigating mild distractions. This course is designed to set expectations, create consistency, and give owners the tools to confidently guide their dog in everyday situations. What we cover: • Marker training and clear communication • Sit, down, and place with duration • Introduction to leash manners and structured walking • Recall foundations (come when called) • Engagement and handler focus • Basic impulse control (waiting at doors, food manners, neutrality) Why Basic Obedience?
